Job Description

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a Casting Slag Operator for an immediate start in Paris, KY!

• Pay: $19/hr.
• Hours: 2nd Shift (Start Time: 3PM) or 3rd Shift (Start Time: 11:30PM)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Job Type: Contract to hire

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and adjusting the casting equipment to maintain optimal temperature and pressure levels
• Removing solidified slag and other impurities from the casting molds
• Inspecting cast parts for defects and ensuring compliance with quality standards
• Maintaining detailed production records and reporting any issues or concerns to the production supervisor
• Collaborating with the broader manufacturing team to optimize the casting process and identify opportunities for improvement

Job Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience in a casting or foundry environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and blueprints
• Familiarity with casting equipment and processes
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Final candidates will be required to pass a background investigation and drug screening as a condition of employment
