The primary focus of the Event Coordinator is to provide excellent service and assistance to all prospective and booked clients of FORUM Events Center, as well as vendors, caterers, and fellow facility management contacts. The position is responsible for supporting the Event Center through booking events, venue tours, scheduling, communication with clients and responding to event inquiries. The Event Coordinator works directly with onsite clients to ensure all event details and needs are delivered professionally and promptly and that each client receives exceptional overall service. Responsibilities: Daily responsibilities consist of:
  • Contribute to revenue goals by promoting the space to new and recurring clients and by delivering exceptional onsite service to each event.
  • Conduct facility tours and follow up on all inquiries, and attend bridal/trade show/networking events to promote the event space.
  • Provide excellent event coordination services for all wedding, corporate, and social events, including day of coordination communication with appropriate vendors.
  • Distribute ongoing client thank you letters and post event surveys.
  • Design and produce room setup diagrams for events.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the Audio/Visual System.
  • Help collect up-to-date catering documents to ensure that caterers meet regulations.
  • Maintain thorough understanding of all pricing, practices, guidelines and offerings of the Event Center.
  • Prepare and verify client/event billing.
  • Assist Event Manager and Marketing department with development of materials to promote the Events Center, including management of social media pages.

Qualifications: What we are looking for:
  • A two-year college degree or equivalent education and experience
  • One year to three years of srelated experience in hospitality and event planning
  • Previous Customer Service Experience
  • Proficient Computer Skills
  • Enthusiastic and Positive Attitude
