ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Slate at Founders Tower is Oklahoma City's most storied event venue — 20th floor panoramic views, 60 years of history, and a brand that is just getting started. We are the former home of the legendary Chandelle Club, one of only four revolving restaurants in the world. Today, Slate hosts weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations for OKC's most discerning clients.
We are currently undergoing a significant renovation that will elevate the space to a new level of sophistication, with a Grand Reveal planned for August 2026. This is the right moment to get in.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a driven, relationship-first Event Sales Manager to own our revenue pipeline. This is not a desk job. You will be the face of Slate in the OKC event community — building relationships with wedding planners, corporate event coordinators, hotel concierge teams, and non-profit organizations. You will prospect, pitch, tour, close, and follow up.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
— Actively prospect and build relationships with OKC wedding planners, corporate coordinators, and event professionals
— Represent Slate at networking events, bridal shows, and industry functions
— Lead venue tours and convert inquiries into confirmed bookings
— Manage and follow up on your pipeline with urgency and consistency
— Collaborate with the GM on event execution and client experience
— Hit and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets

— Self-directed — you don't need to be managed, you need to be unleashed
— Available for evenings, some weekends, and occasional events — this is not a 9-to-5
— OKC network in events, weddings, or hospitality is a strong plus
— No degree required; results and character matter more
COMPENSATION
— Base salary: $3,000/month
— Monthly commission on collections above floor
— Quarterly bonus on cumulative revenue — the real upside
— OTE $80,000+ for a strong performer
— Uncapped — if you push this venue to capacity, your earnings reflect it
