Compensation: Up to $95,000 + Comp

Overview

On behalf of a well-renowned fintech client, we are seeking a high-calibre Graduate / Junior Software Developer to join their front-office technology team in Boston, Massachusetts. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Computer Science graduate (or equivalent) with up to 1 year of experience to work on mission-critical systems in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

The Role

You will be joining a high-performing front-office technology team, developing and maintaining applications that directly support traders and product managers. This role offers a steep learning curve and the chance to write clean, scalable code for revenue-generating systems while being mentored by senior engineers in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining high-performance applications supporting front-office users
  • Collaborating closely with traders, product managers, and senior engineers to deliver new features
  • Writing clean, scalable code and contributing to system improvements
  • Participating in code reviews and learning from top-tier technical talent
  • Supporting mission-critical, high-impact financial systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or closely related field) from a top-tier university
  • 0–1 year of professional experience using Python and/or Java
  • Exposure to financial technology, trading, or revenue-generating systems (internships included)
  • Strong fundamental understanding of algorithms and data structures
  • A proactive attitude and desire to work in a fast-paced environment
