Job Description

Our client, a luxury hotel portfolio in New York City, is seeking an experienced Revenue Manager to support revenue strategy and performance across two high-end hotel properties. This role is responsible for analyzing market data, identifying revenue opportunities, and contributing strategic recommendations that maximize profitability, optimize room revenue, and support overall commercial success. The ideal candidate brings a strong analytical mindset, hands-on revenue management experience, and a solid understanding of pricing, forecasting, distribution, and hotel operations. This person will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to drive performance while maintaining the highest standards of excellence. As the Revenue Manager, you will support the development and execution of revenue strategies across multiple properties. You will analyze market demand, competitor performance, booking pace, and historical trends to recommend pricing and inventory strategies that optimize revenue across all distribution channels. This position works closely with Sales, Marketing, Catering, Finance, and Operations to provide data-driven insights and strategic direction. You will also be responsible for preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, supporting budgeting efforts, and ensuring rates and availability align with revenue goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the Directors of Revenue in developing and executing revenue strategies, including pricing, forecasting, and distribution across multiple hotel properties
  • Optimize revenue across all channels, including brand website, voice, GDS, and third-party channels such as OTAs
  • Analyze market demand, booking pace, competitor performance, and historical trends to identify revenue opportunities and improve forecast accuracy
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies by segment, including promotions and special offers to support business needs
  • Conduct regular competitive set analysis and monitor room inventory across all channels
  • Oversee revenue management systems and tools, ensuring functionality, accuracy, and troubleshooting when needed
  • Evaluate distribution channel performance to improve visibility, profitability, and market reach
  • Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports with detailed analysis and recommendations
  • Lead and support weekly revenue strategy meetings focused on pricing, demand, availability, and promotional opportunities
  • Partner with Sales & Marketing, Catering, Finance, and Front Office teams to align commercial strategies
  • Monitor KPIs including RevPAR, ADR, and occupancy
  • Support the annual rooms revenue budget process through research, analysis, and performance review
  • Manage and optimize relationships with key third-party partners including Expedia, Booking.com, and wholesale accounts
  • Educate internal teams on revenue management principles and how they support overall hotel performance
  • Maintain a professional presence and contribute to a collaborative, growth-focused team culture
  • Uphold brand standards, service excellence, and overall company values in all aspects of the role

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3+ years of revenue management experience, preferably within a luxury hotel environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with Visual Basic, Access, and other analytical tools is a plus
  • Strong understanding of hotel operations, sales, and marketing functions
  • Solid knowledge of revenue management principles including RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, pricing, and forecasting
  • Experience developing and executing revenue strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Proficiency with revenue management systems and hotel distribution platforms
  • Knowledge of PMS, CRS, RMS, and GDS systems, including HMS and Sabre
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret complex data sets
  • Adaptable and able to respond to changing market conditions and business needs
  • Commitment to balancing revenue optimization with an exceptional guest experience
