Our client, a boutique law firm specializing in Veterans Law, is looking for a Junior Legal Assistant to join their team. This isn't just an admin job; it’s a launchpad! salary: $20 - $23 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: Associate
Responsibilities
- Manage incoming calls and greet guests with a professional, welcoming demeanor.
- Provide empathetic and clear updates to clients regarding their case status.
- Communicate directly with the Department of Veterans Affairs and other entities to move cases forward.
- Update our case management system, tracking databases, and calendars with 100% accuracy.
- Compose and prepare professional correspondence, reports, and letters.
- Respond to notices from clients and the government; manage mail processing, scanning, and filing.
- Maintain appearance of our common areas, including the reception area, kitchen, and file rooms.
- Perform monthly inventory counts and ensure supplies are always stocked.
- Handle essential errands such as post office runs and bank deposits.
