Microbiologist III

Their laboratory partners with pharmaceutical companies, compounding and hospital pharmacies, drug manufacturers, and raw material suppliers—bringing excellence to pharmaceutical sciences and improving drug safety.
Under the supervision of the Laboratory Supervisor, the Microbiologist III is responsible for delivering high-quality pharmaceutical microbiology testing while providing excellent customer service to clients. This is a safety-sensitive role involving work with hazardous materials and pharmaceutical products.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (flexibility required for early/late/weekend shifts)
Work Restrictions: Due to the nature of the work, medical marijuana cards are not permitted and random drug testing is conducted.
Essential Functions
Position Requirements
Associate’s degree in Microbiology or related field with 4+ years of industry experience
OR
Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of industry experience
OR
Work Environment
Laboratory setting with exposure to microorganisms and potentially hazardous chemicals.
Use of PPE including gloves, eye protection, respirator, and lab coat is required.
Standard office equipment is also used as part of the role.
