This appointment represents a unique opportunity to shape the financial future of an organization serving America's combat veterans at the national level.

The selected Council Member will serve as a strategic advisor and advocate for CVOA's development function, working alongside fellow Council Members to advance the organization's fundraising capacity, donor relationships, and long-term financial sustainability.

  • Help establish fundraising benchmarks, reporting frameworks, and accountability structures.

  • Leverage personal and professional networks to expand CVOA's donor base and funding pipeline.

Governance and Strategic Leadership

  • Participate in National Command Council meetings and contribute to high-level organizational decision-making.

  • Advise on veteran legislation, federal engagement strategies, and policy priorities aligned with CVOA's mission.

  • Support long-term capital planning and financial sustainability of both the VSO and Foundation entities.

  • Contribute to the Council's work on structural expansion efforts across the country.

  • Serve as an ambassador for CVOA's mission within your professional and veteran community networks.
