Job Title: Service Porter / Service Lot Attendant Department: Service Reports To: Service Manager or Shop Manager Job Summary The Service Porter supports the service department by moving, staging, and maintaining vehicles throughout the service process. This role helps ensure an efficient service workflow, a clean and organized service area, and a positive customer experience. Key Responsibilities

• Move customer vehicles to and from service drive, service bays, and parking areas
• Stage vehicles according to service advisor and technician instructions
• Greet customers and Assist with vehicle check-in and check-out processes
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service drive, service bays, and customer waiting areas
• Perform basic vehicle preparation, including light cleaning, vacuuming, and washing as needed
• Check vehicles for fuel level, warning lights, and general condition
• Assist with jump-starts, tire inflation, and minor non-mechanical tasks
• Transport vehicles for sublet repairs, inspections, or off-site services
• Ensure keys, tags, and paperwork are properly handled and secured
• Follow all safety procedures and dealership policies

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles (preferred)
• Strong time-management and organizational skills
• Ability to follow directions and work in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude
• Basic automotive knowledge is a plus but not required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to enter and exit vehicles frequently
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

Work Schedule

• Full-time or part-time
• Monday–Friday schedule
