Connect Staffing is hiring Stand-Up Forklift Operators for a high-volume 3PL distribution center in Houston, TX. This is a temp-to-hire position paying $18–$20/hr across multiple shifts. You will operate a Raymond stand-up dock pacer with a clamp attachment to move, position, and rack product throughout the facility.

Pay: $18–$20/hr

Schedule: 1st Shift: Mon–Fri 2:00 AM–10:30 AM | 2nd Shift: Mon–Fri 10:30 AM–7:00 PM | 3rd Shift: Mon–Fri 3:00 PM–11:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Operate a Raymond stand-up dock pacer with clamp attachment to move, position, and rack product throughout the distribution center. You'll also:
• Pull and pick customer orders from warehouse racking for outbound shipment
• Scan merchandise using radio frequency (RF) equipment before relocating product to a new rack location
• Receive and store inbound product and transfers in designated rack areas
• Transport picked orders to the dock using material handling equipment
• Verify that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped
• Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and minor forklift maintenance

Minimum Requirements

• 1+ year of stand-up forklift or reach truck experience in a warehouse or distribution center
• Experience operating forklifts with clamp or specialty attachments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating Raymond stand-up dock pacers specifically
• Familiarity with RF scanning equipment and warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Experience in a 3PL, distribution center, or high-volume fulfillment environment
• Ability to read and follow pick tickets, packing slips, and shipping labels
• Experience with pallet racking systems and product positioning
• Preferred prior job titles: Stand-Up Forklift Operator, Reach Truck Operator, Clamp Forklift Operator, Dock Pacer Operator, Order Picker, Warehouse Forklift Operator, Material Handler, RF Scanner Operator, Lift Truck Operator, Distribution Center Associate
