Commercial Lending Portfolio Manager (Business Development, Credit Mgmt, Banking) Job Overview

This highly visible role at Leader Bank focuses on driving business development and managing a commercial lending portfolio. The successful candidate will solicit, negotiate, and coordinate lending transactions while building strong client relationships and maximizing profitability. This position is supported by a strong Credit Management Team and the Bank's leadership.

• Solicit, negotiate, process, and coordinate commercial lending transactions in compliance with bank policies.
• Develop and nurture strong business relationships with new, existing, and prospective customers.
• Maximize the Bank's profitability by actively building and managing your own lending portfolio and pipeline.
• Gather and analyze financial information to present loan requests for approval.
• Monitor and service an assigned portfolio of existing loans, conducting annual reviews and processing renewals.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support the Bank's strategic growth plans and cross-sell products.
• Represent the Bank in community and civic functions to enhance its image and foster business relationships.

• Prior experience as a Commercial Lender, including originating and analyzing loans.
• Mastery of all aspects of Commercial Lending, including origination, underwriting, monitoring, and servicing.
• Proven success in marketing and business development within the lending sector.
• Solid credit skills with advanced knowledge in financial statement and tax return analysis.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Advanced knowledge of federal and state lending and compliance requirements.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with nCino is preferred.
